Sample Quiz - Requires Respondus LockDown Browser + Webcam

Purpose: This quiz is set-up to demonstrate how Respondus' Lock Down Browser and Monitor works in an actual online course.

Technical Requirements: To complete this quiz, you will be using Respondus LockDown Browser and Monitor.  This requires that you have downloaded and installed the browser and have a computer with an active webcam.  

I would strongly suggest reviewing the information on the Information for Students page or the instructions contained within the syllabus.  Here you will find information on how to download and access Respondus' Lock Down Browser and Monitor.  

Once you have loaded the browser, you will need to use LockDown Browser to access Canvas and navigate to this quiz.  You will not be able to exit the Lock Down browser until you submit the quiz.

Instructions:  This quiz contains four multiple choice questions regarding the findings of a study on the frequency cheating by college students.  The four questions will be presented one at a time.  You will not be able to return to a question once you have answered it.  Also, there is a five-minute time limit on the quiz.

You can retake the quiz multiple times, should you want to try the software in different environments or on different computers.

You need to:

• Ensure you're in a location where you won't be interrupted
• Turn off all mobile devices, phones, etc.
• Clear your desk of all external materials — books, papers, other computers, or devices
• Remain at your desk or workstation for the duration of the quiz
• LockDown Browser will prevent you from accessing other websites or applications; you will be unable to exit the test until all questions are completed and submitted
