Remember, for Project 4: School Success we are discussing school success and what makes a school successful. To do this we are first going to pick the schools we use for this project. This is a class project, but you will get to pick the schools you want to collect data on for the Project and then share your data with the class. [Note, we are doing this early so that way I have time to get things ready for the start of Project 4!]
Directions for what to do for this assignment:
Step 1: Check to see what schools are already used - School Success Project for our class project, schools can't be duplicated. If you're not sure how to check to see if the school you'd like to select has been picked, try doing Ctrl-F (control F or command F for Mac) and do a search for the name of the school.
Step 2: Pick THREE (one of each size - small, medium, large) high schools from this list Report Card Schools that weren't already picked from Part 1. Make sure you get one of each size: small, medium, and large.
Step 3: Add your three schools and their size to the bottom of the list - School Success Project. Remember not to add your schools over or on top of anyone else's work!
Step 4: Type in the text entry box for this assignment the following information:
- The name of the three schools you picked
- That you have double-checked that none of the schools you picked are a duplicate or already picked by someone else in our class.
Note: If you pick a school that has already been selected you will get assigned a replacement school and lose points on this assignment.
